Some good news from the Government

If you registered with the Office of the Public Guardian a Lasting Power of Attorney or Enduring Power of Attorney in the period 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2017 you may be entitled to a refund.

After a review of the Office of the Public Guardians fees, it has been decided that the charge for the registration of the documents was excessive and applicants are entitled to a refund. To obtain a refund visit https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney-refund If you require any assistance with your application please contact either Simon Greener or Gabrielle Renouf who would be pleased to help.
